Climate Programme
The Climate Programme supports SMEs in getting started with climate action. More than 800 SMEs have already taken impactful climate action with the support of the programme.
Finland Chamber of Commerce Climate Programme
The Climate Programme is a free, one-year programme for Finnish SMEs that are at the beginning of their climate journey or need support in calculating their carbon footprint and planning emission reductions.
The programme is organised by the Finland Chamber of Commerce and made possible by LocalTapiola (LähiTapiola in Finnish). Participation does not require Chamber membership or a customer relationship with LocalTapiola.
What is the Climate Programme?
The programme provides practical training, expert support and tools for carbon footprint calculation and emission reduction planning.
Participating companies that complete their carbon footprint calculation according to the programme schedule will receive the Carbon Footprint Calculated Badge free of charge.
In 2027, the programme will welcome 300 new SMEs. More than 800 Finnish SMEs have already participated in the programme between 2024 and 2026.
Who is it for?
The programme is intended primarily for SMEs that have not yet started climate work or are in its early stages.
Companies that already calculate emissions and need support with Scope 3 emissions may be interested in the Climate Community instead.

Language
The Climate Programme is delivered primarily in Finnish.
The Finland Chamber of Commerce’s Emission Calculator is also available in English, enabling participants to calculate and manage their carbon footprint using an English-language interface.

The Climate Programme is delivered primarily in Finnish. The Emission Calculator is also available in English.
Where are the trainings held?
All trainings and workshops are organised online.
How much time does participation require?
For the training and sparring events, Participants should reserve approximately 4.5 hours per person during the spring programme and approximately 4.5 hours per person during the autumn programme, in addition to independent work on carbon footprint calculation and emission reduction planning.
