Piotr Pruś, Attorney-at-Law, Managing Partner, ECOVIS Legal Poland Pruś and Partners Law Firm
Mr Pruś has focused his practice on the commercial law, supporting clients in corporate development work, as well as preparing and negotiating commercial contracts. He has assisted within numerous foreign investments in Poland. The projects included greenfield investments, mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures. The majority of clients assisted by Mr Pruś are from Scandinavia, especially from Finland. The law firm has more than 40 overall number of Finnish clients, and the total value of investments runs into the amounts to hundreds of millions of Polish zlotys.

Mr Pruś is also chairman of the Supervisory Board of Miilux Poland, the Polish subsidiary of Miilux Oy. He works fluently in English.

Ecovis Legal Poland is part of the advisory and consulting group Ecovis, which that is present in more than 80 countries.

Agata Smidowicz-Puziak, Licensed Tax Advisor, BILANS Kancelaria Doradców Podatkowych
Mrs Smidowicz-Puziak works as a licensed tax adviser and she has been working in taxes and accounting since 2008. Her main fields of professional experience are PIT, CIT and VAT in trans-border transactions. As a licensed tax advisor she assists her clients in their everyday business decisions. A vast majority of her clients are foreigners, and she makes sure the projects they engage in and the transactions they make are in line with Polish tax system. She supports her clients throughout the business registration process and during the business setup. Her standard assistance relates to VAT (domestic, EU and non-EU transactions), CIT, PIT and payroll.

Additionally, she works with her counterparts in other countries worldwide where her clients’ subsidiaries are located. Thanks to this regular exchange of information multinational companies she works with receive reliable feedback and consolidation data.

Asim Shaikh, Managing Director – Nordics and Poland, Geobear Global

Mr. Shaikh works as a Managing Director of the Finnish, Swedish and polish business of Geobear Global. He is also a board member of the Baltic venture of Geobear. Geobear is a ground engineering company focused on solving customers subsidence issues in residential, commercial and infrastructure sector. Mr. Shaikh, was solely responsible in opening the Polish  branch of Geobear as a greenfield market. The polish business at Geobear has seen a sharp growth in top-line and bottom-line year after year.

Tuomas Asunmaa, Member of Board, Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce; CEO, Spondeo; former Chairman of the Finnish Trade Guild Mr Asunmaa is an entrepreneur in Poland since 2011, and has run his current company Spondeo since 2014.

Spondeo is focusing on go-to -market projects, consulting, sales opening and remote recruitment services in Polish market.

Last year the company had over 40 clients from Finland and the Finnish-Polish team of 5 members is located in Poznan, Western Poland.

Additionally, Mr Asunmaa is former chairman of the Finnish Trade Guild and a board member in Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce.
